New Cars

My husband and I bought a new car today. What a traumatic event. Not only financially, but emotionally and spiritually. You look at all the new cars you think you want, then you look at the ones you can afford. Then you have to pick out a color . And not just on the outside but on the inside too. It was 94 degrees today. Like that helped any. And then you have to decide on what bells and whistles you can afford. Then you stop to ask God if this is a good move for us right now. And God said yes, my good and faithful servant. And then I cried.
My new car sits in the garage. The dogs are are confused. They think a stranger is here. It is a stranger. But we will become best friends for many years to come. Thank you God for allowing me to have a new car. May I continue to be your good and faithful servant.
